Both full-time and part-time flavours are available for consumption. Choose the one that is right for you: full-time | part-time
In this 450 hour training program, you will learn to build a website or app – from concept to design. You will become familiar with the entire web creation process. Play with coding while discovering the skills to build your own mobile application or website. The unique game-based environment allows you to learn in an active way to acquire authentic and relevant coding skills and abilities. The final portion of the program includes a Capstone Project where you will publish your newly created app on various mobile stores or, in the case of a web-based application project, to a web-platform. The format of the course is online with scheduled live sessions with an instructor or an instructor aide. You do not have to come to a classroom or campus – all can be completed from the comfort of your own home (computer and network access required).

HTML is the backbone of web development. CSS is a powerful tool that ensures websites have consistent styles and formats. This week, you’ll learn how to use HTML to create webpages, and how to use CSS to make your website look great!You will also be introduced to JavaScript as a core technology of the web and learn a variety of event-based functions you can develop with this powerful essential language.

JavaScript is a powerhouse on its own, and it’s even more powerful with Node.js. You need to understand how to design and manipulate databases when dealing with data. In this week, you’ll learn how Node.js allows you to execute JavaScript code outside of a browser and how Node.js and a third-party library can increase your efficiency and effectiveness when doing so.

Developing SPAs, or single-page applications, is a crucial skill set for web-developers.Learning how you develop a website is more important than the content that lives within it. Furthermore, as soon as web content isn’t static, it can be drawn from multiple locations and displayed in several other locations.In this week, you will explore the architecture of Angular and learn the essential elements of Typescript and Angular that will start to build your expertise in SPAs. You will also explore data display and the directives that support it.

In this week, you’ll discover how the Ionic Framework and the Ionic CLI can help you develop mobile applications.You will come to understand how people interact with technology on different devices and explore how a thoughtfully designed user interface (UI) can make an app easy and intuitive.

Branding has become an important element of every app and website. In this week, you’ll be introduced to branding and theming, as well as some of the most important tools to communicate your brand effectively.You’ll also learn how to deploy your app in different app stores

This module covers project presentations on day 1 followed by a second day of morning sessions talking about employment preparations and an afternoon session talking about freelance preparation.

Your network connection should be able to support live delivery of web conferences. Adequate speeds for this are usually around 10Mbps down and 4 Mbps up.
